Kitengela Residence
Scope: Gypsum, paint, cabinetry, woodworks, tilework, stoneworks; facade and exterior paints
The Brief
The client engaged Keith Interiors for the full interior design and fit-out of a residential mansion. The confirmed scope covers gypsum, paint, cabinetry, woodworks, tilework and stoneworks, with the facade and exterior paints also completed.
Design Approach
Natural stone is the signature material of this residence: decorative coral-stone walls in the entertainment room inside, and Mazeras stone at the entrance outside, complemented by a pergola and glazing.
Execution
Works began with demolition of the existing doors and windows, followed by the interior trades: gypsum, plumbing, electricals, paintwork, cabinetry and woodwork. This was followed by the staircase, doors and windows, tiling and shower cubicles. The entertainment room received decorative walls built with coral stones. For the exteriors, we installed Mazeras stone at the entrance, pergola framing and glass on the main entrance and upper floor, window glazing, and finished with the facade and exterior paints.
Outcome
Completed. A residence delivered inside and out; interiors, natural-stone features, glazed pergola and finished facade.
