Kilifi Coastal Villa
Scope: Coastal substrate rendering, bespoke hardwood joinery, pergola glazing, coral stone finishes, sanitary installations, exterior weatherproofing
The Brief
Keith Interiors was commissioned to execute the interior and exterior architectural finishes for a luxury coastal retreat in Kilifi. The brief emphasized breathable open spaces, natural textures, and finishes tailored to endure maritime humidity and salt air.
Design Approach
The scheme adopts an organic coastal aesthetic featuring smooth terrazzo and screeded floors, local hardwood doors, coral stone architectural highlights, and airy sheltered verandahs designed for passive cooling and relaxed coastal living.
Execution
The team coordinated specialized coastal rendering mixtures, custom timber joinery treated for marine climates, bespoke open vanity stations, decorative stonework, and exterior weather-shield protective coatings across all elevations.
Outcome
Completed. A light-filled coastal sanctuary harmoniously bridging indoor comfort with outdoor coastal landscapes.
