Habona Airbnb Apartment - Kilifi
Scope: Gypsum, cabinetry, woodwork, tilework, bathroom fittings
The Brief
Keith Interiors was engaged for the full interior design and fit-out of an Airbnb apartment in Kilifi; a complete interior overhaul covering gypsum works, cabinetry, woodwork, tilework and bathroom fittings.
Design Approach
Quality and consistency drive the approach. The joinery, including doors and cabinetry, is manufactured in Keith Interiors' workshop and then transported and assembled on site, so the finish stays consistent across the apartment.
Execution
The main challenges are a tight programme and a remote Kilifi location. They are managed through careful planning, advance fabrication of joinery in the workshop, logistics coordination, and efficient installation on site.
Outcome
Project in progress. The strongest proof point: a coordinated fit-out delivered by completing detailed joinery off-site and executing efficient assembly on location despite the tight schedule and distance.
