Chesimet Residence
Scope: Gypsum, cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, tilework; doors, stairs, SPC flooring, decorative finishes, glazing, external plumbing and drainage
The Brief
The client engaged Keith Interiors to fit out a mansion shell and deliver the overall fittings. The confirmed scope covers gypsum, cabinetry, electrical, plumbing and tilework, with cabinetry as the signature element of the interiors.
Design Approach
Cabinetry leads the design of this residence. The fit-out is structured as a three-phase programme: alterations, first-fix services and cabinetry first; then doors, stairs and floor and wall finishes; then the decorative finish layer and external works.
Execution
The works are sequenced across three phases. Phase 1 covers demolition and alterations to masonry, gypsum works, electrical rerouting, mechanical first-fix installations, wall skimming, undercoats, and cabinetry works. Phase 2 covers the production and installation of aluminium and timber doors, stairs, wall and floor tiling, and SPC flooring. Phase 3 covers decorative finishes, final painting, glazing works for the pergola and shower cubicles, and external plumbing and drainage.
Outcome
